Origins

Armed with analogue sounds and upbeat indie anthems, Go Tell The Eskimo comfortably blend energetic rock & roll elements with a pop-centric demeanor that can only be described as Go Tell The Eskimo! This can be heard throughout their debut record “Life Among Wolves" Along with firm local support from the BBC and national Radio the band caught  the attention of audiences across their native UK before coming across the pond.

In 2012 the band signed with the then Red Parade Music, owned by music producer Jim Roach. After a flight to the U.S. and two months in the studio in Los Angeles the team had recorded several songs and was ready to release "Smoke Signals," Go Tell The Eskimos first EP, and precursor to their upcoming debut album “Life Among Wolves.” Although London based the band's original international membership hails from England, Ireland, Chile, and the U.S.,  their initial demos were recorded simultaneously on both sides of the Atlantic in a 24 hour cycle between London and California where the songs were constantly kicked around and revised before sending off to their label in Los Angeles.

In October 2012, a month before it's official release their first single 'When Lights Go Out” was listed in Amazing Radio’s Top 15 Tracks for October and Top 5 tracks of the year. In addition iTunes (US) took note of the band and featured their EP "Smoke Signals" in their "New and Noteworthy" section on the day of release.

The band continues to make their mark television licensing with their song “This Is Our Time” being used in the NBC Winter Olympics Commercial, a national commercial for RedFin, as well as featured on several TV shows.
